Steve Lee Pyatt, age 70 of Columbus, died July 21st, 2020 at his Caledonia residence. Steve was born June 8th, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio as the son of Leo and the late Geraldine (Gibb) Pyatt. He was married to the love of his life, Susan Rotolo in 1976. Their 34 years of marriage were the greatest years of Steve’s life. She preceded him in 2010. Steve was a member of the High Street Baptist Church where he also drove the Senior bus. Steve was a “coach” to his children in whatever sport or activity they were in, whether they wanted him to or not. He was a volunteer at the OSU Transplant Center, his wife was a transplant recipient. Steve enjoyed fishing, watching war movies and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed studying Constitutional Law and American History. And he loved his dog, Sophie. Steve is survived by his sons, Joseph (Tiphanie), Christopher (Alicia) and Jordan Pyatt, daughter, Erin Pyatt, grandchildren, Madison, Ian, Ellie, Evie, Grace, Kelsie, Riley, Hannah and Jacob, sister, Becky Weaver and furkid Sophie. He is preceded in death by his son Joshua. Funeral Services for Steve will be held on Tuesday, July 28th at 11:00 at the High Street Baptist Church in Columbus with his son Christopher Pyatt officiating. Graveside service will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery in Philo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the OSU Comprehensive Transplant Center, 410 W. 10th Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43210.
